AERIAL YOGA

F.L.Y ~ First Love Yourself <3

Utilizing the aerial yoga hammock as a prop, we will access classic yin yoga postures with a fun aerial twist.

Under the traditional Chinese understanding of yin (more passive) and yang (more active) energy, most yoga classes are ‘yang’. Postures focus on moving the body, contracting and strengthening the muscles. This challenges the muscles and connective tissue in our joints, and this mild stress means they respond by becoming stronger.

HOT & WARM YOGA

Based on the Ghosh/Bikram Tradition of Hatha Yoga postures. In a heated room, discover an inner fire waiting to be awakened! Dress cool while you loosen the knots and untie your restraints. Move through 26 poses & 2 breathing exercises designed to detoxify your body, strengthen your mind and nourish your soul. The yoga room is heated to 101-105 degrees using far infrared and near infrared heaters, which are therapeutic, and also environmentally friendly. This class is open to all levels of practice, beginners welcome!

Note: Due to the nature of this class, we advise limiting food 2 hours before class. Drink water before class and sparingly throughout.

YIN YOGA

Yin Yoga is a slow-paced practice, incorporating principles of traditional Chinese medicine, with asanas (postures) that are held for longer periods of time while utilizing conscious breathing. Yin yoga targets deep connective tissues; fascia, ligaments, joints, and bones. Since it’s slower and more meditative, it gives more space to turn inward and tune into both mind and the physical sensations of the body.
